After years of organising successful C2C bike rides and two rides from Sutton Park to Prestatyn for Kids UK, in 2021 I plan to lead a new(ish) route to a different seaside destination for our Cycle to the Sea bike ride. The date is not yet fixed but will probably be a Sunday in June.
This will be a one way, 100+ mile ride from Aldridge to the Wirral.
There will be support vehicles to carry your day bag, provide back up in case of problems and to bring you and your bicycle back at the end of the day. The ride is not closed road and the route is not signed. GPX files will be provided and there will be a ride leader.
For 2021 there's a revised route improving the break and toilet options at the first 25 mile point and providing miles of traffic free riding beside the sea at the end of the day.
This is a fundraising ride to support the work of Kids UK. Riders will pay the costs of the ride in advance to secure a place and then will be asked to donate and/or raise funds through sponsorship. There are very limited places due to this being a one way ride with return transport. It's NOT a race and all riders will receive a finishers medal and certificate and be provided with a fish and chip supper before being transported back to the start.
