Trikes and Bikes CIC is run by Jim & Pete. We can advise, supply, service and repair across a wide range of tricycles & bicycles, for adults and children with or without e-assist. You can contact us:
phone 0121 378 2828 / email [email protected] or use my contact form on this site CLICK We do not have a high street shop. The trikes and bikes we supply are on our website www.trikesandbikes.org.uk We know stuff! You can talk to us about trikes and bikes and we can advise on what is available and what could work for you. If you choose to buy from us, you purchase the bicycle or tricycle online from our shop and we deliver to you a fully assembled, tested, warrantied machine that is absolutely ready to ride. We have workshop facilities where we can service and repair your trike or bike. You can bring your trike or bike to us at one of our Bike2Life events or we can collect from your home in the 'north Birmingham' area. After the work is done, we return the trike or bike back to you. We are experienced at supplying and fitting Tannus tyre products. Tannus Aither solid tyres guarantee no punctures, ever. Tannus Armour tyre liners are thick liners which massively reduce your risk of punctures but retain your choice of tyre tread and also pneumatic comfort. We can advise on whether these products are suitable for your wheels and quote to supply and fit.
We can handle 'fleet servicing' for clubs and organisations that have a number of trikes and/or bikes that need maintenance and repair. This can be done on site or in our workshops. We are regular riders of bikes and trikes ourselves. We have e-assist and non-e-assist and we ride with Tannus products on our own bikes. Talk to us soon. |
Bike2Life is a Community Cycle Project. It has been running in Four Oaks (north Birmingham) for around twenty years. Jim is a founder member and Pete has been involved for a few years now too.
We run a regular Monday morning Fix Learn Ride session in the grounds of Four Oaks Baptist Church, Grange Lane, B75 5JX, from 10am to 1pm (last bike at 12.30) We can do simple repairs to bikes and trikes usually just for the cost of the parts. Sometimes we have funding from CyclingUK and then there is usually no charge at all. What we most like to do is help people to learn to fix and learn to ride.
We can > fix simple problems on your bicycle or tricycle > show you how to fix simple problems on your bicycle or tricycle (tools provided) You can > learn how to fix problems by practising on one of our bikes with our tools > learn new skills and gain confidence riding your bicycle or tricycle with some supervision and guidance. > learn new skills and gain confidence riding one of our bicycles or tricycles with some supervision and guidance.
